Dear Colleagues!

 

In the world that we are living in, with its hectic lifestyles, information overload, political and economic crises, the problem of preserving mental health deserves special importance.According to WHO, approximately 6% of the world population suffer from mental disorders; the problem which affects the lives and well-being of individuals, and imposes a substantial social and economic burden on society as a whole. 
Due to the complex nature of mental health disorders, prevention on a global scale requires equally complex approach via cross-field collaboration between multiple experts representing public health industry, science and education, art and culture, economics and law, social welfare, information and press, sport and physical fitness, business and civil society. 
We hope that the Union for Mental Health will unite best experts in search of innovative approaches in tackling one of the most important issues — preserving Russia’s population mental health.
